Since its launch Worldwide Vape has been providing excellent quality mods, e-liquids, batteries, and other equipment. While customers have little to worry about in terms of service and quality some have shown concern regarding battery use.
To ease any concerns, we have given guidelines on battery safety. This will prevent any potential accidents and ensure maximum potential use of batteries.
Use a case for your batteries
Never throw your batteries into your bag or backpack unprotected. Contact with metal (e.g. Keys, coins etc.) can cause batteries to short circuit which can make them vent and potentially explode. Battery cases are a good solution to protect your batteries and yourself when carrying them around.
Use the vape charger to charge batteries
Don't make use of cheap counterfeit chargers, even if they seem like a good deal at the time. Using a different charger is dangerous because it may have a higher voltage than your battery, causing it to overheat and potentially explode. It is safest to use the charger your device came with.
Follow the guidelines given by the Manufacturer
Each vape comes with a set of guidelines regarding the use of the vape device and its maintenance.
In order to keep yourself well informed about the risks and dangers of battery use please read the instructions carefully. This will help prevent accidents.
Don’t overcharge your Battery
While most well-made mods stop charging on their own once battery levels are sufficient, technical issues are not unheard of. It is strongly advised that you charge your batteries in front of you and not overnight, to avoid overcharging. This can weaken your battery.
Never use damaged batteries
If your batteries have become frayed or wet or even if they can’t maintain charge anymore dispose of them safely. Do not continue using damaged batteries.
Place your batteries in the correct order
Place your batteries according to the +/- specified by the manufacturer. While some mods may have reverse polarity protection, all of them do not. Placing them incorrectly may cause the batteries to vent and potentially cause a fire.
Keep your batteries in cool and dry place
You should keep your batteries in a cool and dry place. Exposing them to extreme temperatures or wet surfaces can cause severe damage.
Don’t use counterfeit batteries
The counterfeit batteries might be cheaper from the original ones but they increase the risk of combustion significantly. Always buy batteries from well-known vendors, who will ensure the batteries are authentic.
